The Aged Care Standards & Accreditation Agency http://www.accreditation.org.au/ is an independent agency that manages the residential aged care accreditation process using the Accreditation Standards as set out in the Aged Care Act 1997. The Agency undertakes full site visit every 3 years and at several unannounced visits during the intervening time to ensure compliance with the standards
